1. Find the serving size
Serving size tells you how many units—such as gummies or capsules—make up one labeled serving. Use it with amount per serving so comparisons stay consistent.
2. Read each dietary ingredient
The Supplement Facts panel lists dietary ingredients and their amounts. Some nutrients include a percent Daily Value; for others, a Daily Value has not been established.
3. Look closely at blends
If a product combines ingredients, note whether individual amounts are shown. Research each main ingredient and consider how the total formula fits with other products you use.
4. Check other ingredients
Gummy bases, capsule materials, flavors, sweeteners, colors, and other components may appear outside the main panel. This section can matter for dietary preferences and allergies.
5. Finish with directions and warnings
Review suggested use, storage, cautions, and manufacturer details. Confirm the current label on the product you actually purchase.
